Hp 1510 Psc Drivers For Mac
The early production of this printer shipped with the drivers for the following operating systems: MS Windows XP, MS Windows 2000, Apple Mac OS 9.1 or later, Apple Mac OS X 10.1.5, Apple Mac OS X 10.2.3, Apple Mac OS X 10.3. This information comes from an early review by C/NET. They came on install disks. I have the install disk for the Windows versions.
I need the disk for the early Macintosh versions. I would be glad to buy a disk from someone who has a legitimate copy. Or, if someone at HP could tell me how to order a copy, I will do that. Thanks, wnlewis.
I have the drivers for the HP PSC 1500 series and HP PSC 1600 series. It is CD 7.3.0, Q5888-10023 for Macintosh OS 9.1 and higher, OS X v10.4. I have 10.4.11 on the Mac. The software cannot find the printer.

It is connected via USB. The USB cable works with my HP Pavilion and the printer. The port on the Mac works with a keyboard and other devices. So the USB cable is good and so is the port.
What is causing the printer not to be seen by the computer and the software? Thanks for the help.

Just wanted to thank you for the solution, I had in fact, come up with the same solution and everything now works perfectly. Please note to all the Mac users out there, although all the new Mac's say they have the drivers pre installed for the HP printers, they do not have the drivers for the scanner part of your 'All in Ones' pre installed. Just take your printer off the list and then go to HP and download the drivers for your printer/scanner. No need to buy a new machine! Posted on Nov 28, 2008.
