Xone:k2 Firmware V2.00 For Mac
I wanted some help with a recurring issue I have with my Xone K2 and Traktor. I have Traktor Pro 2.10.2 9 and OS X El Capitan. I do not know why, but sometimes I plug in my Xone K2 and Traktor doesn't seem to recognize it. The CTRL light does not show up when I press any button in the controller.
This happens SOMETIMES, that's why it baffles me. As I said, I frequently use the controller in my gigs, but it does not give me security (should I move to CDJs? I hope I was clear enough and hope you can help me!!
Thanks in advance! Same problem:/ Mac OS X 10.11 El Capitan Correct operation of this platform is not yet verified. Symptoms affecting intermittent MIDI data communication are logged with Apple’s developers by our Software Test Dept. And under investigation. As a result, support for OS X 10.11 El Capitan is not currently offered with this Allen & Heath product. We will update this notice when new information is available. NOTE: Use of Xone:K2 control via X:LINK connection with Xone B4, Xone B2, Xone:43C or Xone:23C is NOT affected.
Click to expand.Short answer, no. There's no easy way to roll back. Did the Mac you are using ship with an earlier OS than 10.11? If so you should be able to get the installer from the App Store but you will have to wipe your hard drive. If you have a Time Machine backup made with an earlier OS then you can reinstate that. If not you cannot use Time Machine nor Migration Assistant to reinstate your current data as TM and MA are not backwards compatible.
You may need to go to Apple and they can install any OS you want. A little update regarding the issue. I contacted Allen & Heat's technical support and here's a part of the discussion I had with them. 'The issue is a Mac OS X bug, so unfortunately not something that we can resolve from here. However, you might also be interested to know that our Software Test Dept. Has just confirmed to me that the issue is fixed in macOS Sierra.
